Professor for Structural Engineering and Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures and Bridge Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University.
Dr. Saad has got B.Sc. in 1987 (Honors Degree) and M.Sc. in 1990 from Ain Shams University. He got PH.D Degree (1996) from Stuttgart University in Germany. Dr. Saad designed several special projects and large infrastructure projects in Europe, Asia and in the Middle East region, e.g. design of cable stayed bridges and suspension bridges with large and intermediate spans for Highways, Railways and Pedestrian with steel, concrete and composite decks as well as and Reinforced Concrete, Prestressed, Pre-cast Bridges, and Steel Bridges with intermediate and small spans for Highways, Railways and Pedestrian. He has a special professional experience in design of light-weight structures, e.g. membrane roofs and cable supported glass facades. University.
