Kilo 39 Bridge,Egypt
​The Kilo 39 bridge lies on the highway road connecting Cairo and Alexandria in Egypt.
It is an interchange on Rod El Farag corridor, This bridge is the interchange of the Rod
El Farag corridor with Cairo – Alexandria desert road at 39 KM with a total length of
200m. 3 bridges are constructed, 2 roadways and one railway in the middle. The
roadways bridges deck width are 27.50m each and the railway bridge is 12.00m. The 4
spans bridge consist of pre-cast pre-stressed beams of 40.00m span supported on
bearings. A double cantiliever (5.75m & 9.00m) are at the middle axes supporting the
pre-cast beams. The bridge is 36 degree skew angle with the Cairo Alexandria desert
road.
